Welcome to the Online Animal Life Drawing (affectionately known as the Elephant in the Room)! 

The Elephant in the Room brings inspiring creatures into your workspace via the magic of Zoom so you can enjoy the thrill of observational drawing with no risk of penguins running off with your pencils, or jaguars jogging your jotters! Whether you're a seasoned professional or a brand new pencil wobbler, you are invited to join these friendly & inspiring drawing sessions.

Bi-monthly there will be a new 'Elephant in the Room', from Orangutans to Grizzly Bears, Elephants to Alpacas and everything in between! We work either from Live subject matter, modelling for us remotely, or from carefully curated film footage & photographs from the very best wildlife filmmakers & photographers in the business. All contributors are fairly paid for the incredible content they provide. Most sessions are unguided so you draw to your own beat, but I am onhand to answer questions and guide you were I can.

A passion for wildlife and a love of animals is at the heart of these classes & we collaborate with those who hold these same values. As a result, our sessions are utterly joyful and have enough feel-good factor to keep you smiling til the next time! The Elephant in the Room has donated thousands of pounds to animal & wildlife conservation organisations & charities around the world, and will continue to do for as long as people want to keep draw with us!

The Economy has gone bananas (I'm pretty sure you've noticed!). It's that much harder to pay the bills, let alone find extra pennies to enjoy activities and I don't want affordability to get in the way of anyone wanting to come to Animal Life Drawing. I really want everyone to be able to draw here which is why I've made tickets "pay what you can" for the foreseeable. 

The usual ticket price is £12 and if you can pay this, great, that really helps me to keep the classes running. But if all you can afford is £2, then that's great too - I would genuinely rather have your company than not. I mean it. I love drawing with you, it makes me happy, and I know that drawing animals will make things feel that bit brighter for you too.
