Illustration, observational drawing, character development & painting are as much fun to create in monochrome as they are in full colour.

It's all about tone, quality of line and expressionate mark-making for me. I love the spontaneity that can be captured through a quick ink or pencil drawing - a limited palette makes me focus on making marks that matter!
