I fell in love with writing and illustrating Children’s Books in my final year at Edinburgh College of Art. That seems like a lifetime ago now...well, three lifetimes ago really.

 

The books I write now are often based on the things I’d like to say to my children, or are simply inspired by something they have said or done - they are the gift that keeps on giving, which goes some way to make up for all the sleepless nights!​

The evolution of the way I make books for children excites me so much and autumn '25 sees the publication of my first illustrated chapter book, The Horse Dreamer. I'm excited to be expanding my written range and adapting imagery for an older audience because you're never too old for pictures in books!
