About the Event
Jocelyn's recorded footage of wild birds feeding from her hand is just spectacular. It's slowed down and super clear - a dream! It's an unusual and fascinating vantage point and great fun to draw from.
We'll be drawing Blue Jays, Nuthatch & Cardinals from moving footage and Great Horned Owls, Heron & Cederwings from stunning photography so there will be a great mix of speedy drawing and longer 'poses'. Perfect!
ALL levels of creatives are welcome to these sessions, any age or ability! You can expect is to find an encouraging group of animal-loving artists at the Elephant in the Room sessions, the atomosphere is always warm and inviting. The challenge of drawing animals can seem daunting at first but you are great company here, and although the sessions are essentially unguided, I am always delighted to talk through techniques and materials as we draw.
