CAENHILL FARM - LIVE & CHATTY AGAIN!
COULD NOT be happier to say that we are joining the FABULOUS Chris at the Caenhill Countryside Centre to draw and chat as we enjoy the wonderful farm residents.
Time & Location
03 Apr, 15:00 – 17:00 BST
About the Event
I am so happy and excited that we are joining Chris once again to share his enthusiasm & knowledge as we draw some of the colourful characters of the farm!
Since we were there last, there have been additions of lambs & piglets & who knows what else by the time we get there! The stand out feeling that you get when you see Chris with the animals in his care, is just how happy and calm they are. There really is a very special relationship that Chris has with them and it is wonderful to see.
Many of the animals in his care are rescued and none of the animals on the farm are for the food chain. They live out their lives, loved, cared for and happy at the Caenhill Countryside Centre, whilst bringing joy and learning experiences to young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to spend time with animals of this nature. Every bit of this organisation is wonderful and I am so happy to say that HALF of all ticket sales will go directly to the organisation.
All levels of creatives are welcome to these sessions and there is never any pressure to share your work if you don't want to. What you can expect is to find an encouraging group of animal-loving artists who love the challenge of drawing all creatures great and small, feathered or fishy, we love them all!
DO BRING PLENTY OF PAPER - you will get through a lot! The rest is up to you, but I recommend choosing materials that move quickly across the page for those moving animal studies.
PLEASE ARRIVE IN PLENTY OF TIME - the sessions are always jam-packed with footage so I try to start promptly at 7pm so it's a good idea to jump on the zoom ten mins beforehand to get settled. I can of course let you in if you arrive late (I'm no meany!) : )
I can't wait to draw with you!
