We're back & I've missed you! 

I thought using this leap year date as a theme was a fun way to ease us back into animal life drawing again. It's a photography based session and we'll spend a variety of times on our 'poses'. It's all going to be lots of fun. Please note that sessions are now a less-exhausting 1.5hr duration. 

The Elephant in the Room, online animal life drawing is the perfect place to lose yourself in your sketchbook and enjoy drawing from nature. We use a combination of video and stills to run these sessions, unless the session description says LIVE in which case we will be connecting with a contributor via zoom to draw live moving subjects!

These sessions are unguided, they are not a 'how to draw a...' lesson. I am more than happy to offer advice and guidance though and always happy to answer questions during the session. Timers on screen are used to keep you right during timed poses but you are very much encouraged to draw following your own response to the subject - there's no such thing as bad drawings here!

After purchasing your ticket, a zoom link will be sent to your inbox. I try to start the session promptly but if you are late or have to leave early, please don't worry, you wont be disturbing anyone.

Tickets are a Pay What You Can situation because I want everyone to feel welcome to come and draw here. If you feel able to pay the full price of £10 for the 1.5hr session then that would be hugely appreciated but your presence is the most important thing : )
